What to do in Alonnisos

Rich in marine life and home to  several endangered species, such as dolphins, the famous Monk Seals, or Monachus Monachus. 

This is why YAKO Sailing came to terms with MOm / The Hellenic Society for the Study and Protection of the Monk seal, to participate in the innovative research project evaluating the conservation status of the Cetacean population (i.e., dolphins and whales).

With its homes lined up like soldiers, Alonnisos’ traditional settlement looks like a castle observing the sea from above.
