Halkidiki
Three peninsulas, a few hundred bays, and a sea that stays warm into October.
Kassandra
The first finger. Long sand beaches on the outside, quiet coves on the Toroneos side.
Sithonia
The middle finger, and the one worth sailing. Pines to the waterline and water you can see the bottom through.
Skopelos
Green to the shoreline, a proper town, and coves on the north side with nobody in them.
Alonnisos
The edge of the marine park. Empty anchorages and, if you are lucky, a monk seal.
