DAY 1

We welcome you at 14:00, and after the necessary safety exhibition we depart from Halkidiki to Alonnisos. During the trip, our experienced skipper will teach you all the basics of sailing. Be ready to learn how to tie a knot, adjust the sails, and steer, as for the rest of the day you can be the captain! After an 8-hour trip, we arrive at a picturesque harbor and take our time to relax and enjoy cool drinks in one of many pleasant and secluded bars and cafés hidden in narrow alleyways. You’ve earned it! (50NM, 8h)

DAY 2

  Next stop, Skyros island! We start our voyage and during the cruise, you’ll get the chance to practice your sailing skills. The wind at this area offers the ideal conditions for smooth sailing and practising steering techniques. Choose your duty on board, play with the wind and waves, adjust your sails and discover your abilities, all the while under the experienced eye and guidance of our skipper. Linaria port will welcome us and be our shelter for the night. In this neat port, you can do a book exchange in a special outdoor library, or join the foam party that takes place every day before sunset! (45NM, 7h)

DAY 3

Have you ever tried horseback riding by the sea? Well, now you will have a chance to do just that, as Skyros is famous for its horse riding tradition that dates all the way back to ancient times. As we pay our morning visit to Mouries Farm, you get the chance to meet the special race of Skyrian horses, study their behavior, learn about their habits from experts and have an unforgettable ride with them! This unique day, dedicated to life of horses, will conclude with a horse-back riding by the sea, at sunset! We move to the small bay of Kyra Panagia, visit the horse - farm there and enjoy a 4 hours experience, including riding at sunset and an unforgettable bbq to an isolated beach, next to a shipwreck.

DAY 4

Early breakfast as it’s time to discover a small gem of the Aegean Sea, the island of Agios Efstratios. We sail north and after enjoying a refreshing dive and snorkelling, upon our arrival in the island, we Moore in the small harbour of a fishermen’s village. If you are searching to escape from noises and crowds, you are in the right place. Have a long walk inside the island, enjoy the sunset and do try the local fish food, fresh and cooked in one of the few traditional taverns in the area. We also visit the Museum of Democracy, dedicated to the people who were exiled in the past, on the island for their political beliefs. (50NM, 8h).

DAY 5

Our next stop is Lemnos island, one of the 10 biggest islands in Greece, with a vast variety of activities and places to visit. Seal’s cave is a unique spot to swim and snorkel before our way to the harbour of Moudros, placed in the south part of Lemnos island. The rest of the day we will explore the east part of Lemnos and will visit the Alyki salt lake, one of the two most important wetlands on the island. This lake in the summer season turns into a salt marsh with plenty of underwater seagrass,known as Posidonia Oceanica beds and it's even safe to walk on. We will end the day visiting the famous ancient temple of Cabiria, a place to worship the deities and celebrate their mystic ceremonies, called “Kaveira Mysteries”. The view from there is stunning and in close distance we can dive into the cave of Filoktitis, a unique place to swim and explore. (30NM,4h)

DAY 6

 

On our last day on the island and after we choose a few great places to swim, we will have the opportunity to visit Myrina and its famous byzantine castle, the biggest in Aegean,with more than 10 towers and a breathtaking view! Travel back in time and learn during the guided tour the history behind those ancient walls! Now, let’s get your hands dirty and try your skills on pottery as we visit one of the best ceramic workshops of the island. After a short lesson from the expert, you will be able to give shape to your creation and take it home as your trophy! Who knows you might start a new hobby! During evening, explore the colorful town of Myrina, taste local dishes and delicatessen from traditional taverns and feel the night air breeze between those narrow roads. Be sure that this won’t be the last time you visit Lemnos as it has so many to offer... (15NM, 2h).

DAY 7

Ultimately, like the great hero Odysseus, we have to return to our “Ithaca”. After a light breakfast, we start our 7-hour way back to Halkidiki. By this point, you should be readyto be the skipper, so take over and sail away! Give commands to the crew, set the route and take the boat to the final destination. The sunset, as our Udyssea comes to an end, will highlight the feelings we share on our last night on board. (60NM, 9h)

DAY 1

During the trip, our experienced skipper will teach you all the basics of sailing. Be ready to learn how to tie a knot, adjust the sails, and steer as for the rest of the day you can be the captain! The calm winds of the area offer the perfect conditions for beginners to have their first touch with sailing. The small village of Sykia will be our shelter for the night, but before you go to sleep make sure you taste the most delicious fish soup you’ll ever try, cooked by an old lady cook of a traditional fish tavern nearby…(20NM,3h)

DAY 2

 Breakfast on board and it is time to visit Mount Athos, one of the most sacred places in Christianity. The cruise to the “Garden of Holy Virgin Mary” will reveal to you its beauty among monasteries built on cliffs of the powerful Mount Athos, and offer its shade amidst the Aegean Sea! You will learn about its importance and history dating from ancient times and Persian wars, till Byzantine times and the expansion of Orthodox faith in Greece. Have your cameras ready for unique photos and let yourself travel through time… Our cruise ends on the island of Ammouliani, a hidden paradise with amazing waters, golden beaches, and some special places where you can enjoy a delicious cocktail at night-time. DAY 3

Wake up with a dive and your day will start in a special way! Our visit to Platanorema farm will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Get ready to make your own ceramics, watch the making and baking of traditional pies in wood-fired ovens, learn how yoghurt is made after milking the animals of the farm, and many other activities. You will also have the chance to have a sip of tsipouro, a traditional Greek spirit after it’s distilled in front of your very eyes! During the day you can try your hand at archery or even do some horse-riding, in safety and under the guidance of supervisors. Yes, it will be a day full of surprises that will end with a unique sunset on board, as we approach our new destination, Diaporos island. (15NM, 2h)

DAY 4

Waking up with a dive in Diaporos island, one of the most colorful spots in Halkidiki, is how every day should start. After that we explore nearby destinations and where needed we offer our eco- services by cleaning shores and water from litters. Ok, you’ve had plenty of sailing, produced and tried traditional products, and learned a lot about the islands, so now let’s enjoy a session of sea-kayak during sunset! The colors and the calm sea, while you explore nearby hidden places, will empty your mind and lose the tense you carry. And if you think that sea kayak during sunset is the highlight of the day wait till you taste “The sailor’s pasta” for dinner! The night sky and the exchanging of the trip’s highlights with the crew will end your day with a huge smile.

DAY 5

BWant to visit some really nice places for swimming and snorkelling? ‘Cause day 5 is full of that thanks to Portokali and Armenistis, two of the best beaches in Halkidiki! It’s time for sunbathing, diving, and relaxing on board as we sail smoothly across the east side of Sithonia. With the boat, we’ll visit special spots that are inaccessible from land and admire all the unique combinations of green and blue. We spend the night in Sykia (yes that place with the delicious fish soup!) as just one time is never enough! (20NM, 3h)

DAY 6

 

Good morning sailors! Put your shoes on and let’s discover the small, traditional village of Sykia and visit a few of the landmarks in the area, like the Windmills, Pavlaras wellspring, and the Koukos cave. After almost 1 hour of soft hiking, we enter the village to get some rest and treat ourselves with local meze and some cold beverages. Try not to lose the track of time as we should get back to the boat and begin our cruise to the west side of Sithonia. The day will end in Porto Koufo, one of the bigger natural ports in Greece, famous for hosting submarines during WW2 as its depth reaches 1000m! As all that sailing surely made you hungry, the fresh fish food from restaurants by the sea will be the ideal menu for dinner.(15NM, 2h)

DAY 7

Welcome to Toroneos bay with its golden beaches and the uninhabited Kelyfos island. Ideal spot for snorkelling and swimming among its rocks and small caves. After we cross the ancient city of Toroni the cruise leads us to Porto Karras’ private bays with turquoise waters perfect for diving and relaxing. The smell from the pine trees and the sounds of nature will help you reach true serenity. The golden sunset, along with some jazz and a nice, cold, local wine will reward you for a day well spent. The sunset, as our Udyssea comes to an end, will highlight the feelings we share on our last night on board.(20NM, 3h)

DAY 1

DAY 2

 Our first breakfast will be a traditional cheese pie from Skopelos and Greek coffee –an absolute must! After that, we sail to the church of Ag. Ioannis, the place where the movie “Mama mia” was filmed. There we will walk up to the rock where the church is built and we will also have time for swimming. After a few stops at beautiful beaches for swimming and snorkelling, we end the day in the unique natural port of Panormos. The scent from the trees and the calmness of the surroundings make this place the ideal spot to spend our night. (17NM, 3h)

DAY 3

Breakfast will be had on board, and afterwards we will have a paddleboard (SUP) lesson and an excursion provided by the great team of Sporades Sup nearby. They will drive us through narrow passages, between rocks and caves, all the way to the hidden gems of the region waiting to be discovered! After that, we will visit an isolated small bay to relax and swim. Afterwards, we will spend the night in the small fishing village of Agnontas – fresh fish dishes await! Let yourself enjoy a cold glass of ouzo along with fish delicacies and share stories with the team. It’s bonding time!

DAY 4

The best way to wake up is to take a dive! Take a leap of faith and enjoy your morning coffee like never before… So, with everyone on board with the idea we will have our first stop for a quick dive at Stafylos beach and then it’s time to visit our second island, Alonissos. As we sail through the Natural Sea Park of the area we might get lucky enough to meet dolphins and admire those beautiful creatures from an amazingly close distance! Just have your cameras and smartphones ready because your friends will never believe it! It’s a day of meeting the nature of the islands, combined with swimming, snorkeling and hiking on the small island of fishermen, called Peristera (Dove). There we visit a famous shipwreck and after trying out our luck with some fishing we spend the night in Vasilikos Bay. (15NM, 2h).

DAY 5

By now you’ve gotten the hang of this, so let’s have our refreshing dive and breakfast before visiting Adelfia (brothers) islands, a pair of uninhabited islands with crystal clear waters. If we meet any fishermen nearby we will treat ourselves to fresh fish on board and share a cold beer with them (or a couple)! It’s time for some civilization again so we take the route to the capital of Alonissos, Patitiri and there we have a chance to visit the stone Pirates’ Museum in Patitiri, the only museum with the history of pirates in the Aegean Sea. In the evening we visit Hora, a traditional and colorful village on the top of the island with a great view and a spectacular sunset. Grilled wild-goat is highly recommended, unless you prefer some of the other specialty dishes available. And yes, it will be hard to keep in shape with all those delicious temptations around you, but you will always have the chance to burn those calories the very next day… (12NM, 2h)

DAY 6

 

After breakfast we sail north, up to the last island of our Udyssea, called Kyra Panagia. We have a quick dive and go snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Ag. Petros, and afterwards we will visit the Monastery of Ag. Antonios. It’s the sole sanctuary on the island, built-in 8th century AD and thus has a very long and significant history. After walking up the hill while enjoying the view we learn all about the monastery and the island from the only monk living there. He welcomes us with local products and shows us his rich garden and the old-stone olive oil mill.  

Let your mind wander through the history of those walls as you feel the cool breeze and the holiness surrounding this sacred place. It will be a time-travelling experience… We end the day with serenity, in the quietest bay of the Aegean in the northern part of the island called Planet. After sunset you will understand how it got its name as at night you will clearly the milky way in the sky. As our skipper describes the constellations above, you become one with the universe. No other sounds, no other lights, nothing between you and the endless sky. Highly recommended: Find a nice spot and sleep outside onboard, it will be an experience of a lifetime!

DAY 7

Ultimately, we have to return to our “Ithaka”, so after a light breakfast, we start our 7-hour way back to Halkidiki. By this point, you’ll know the ropes well so take over and sail away! Give commands to the crew, set the route and take the boat to the final destination.
